Core Barrels
CORE BARRELS AND STARTING BARRELS
Starting barrels are utilised to start holes for core barrels as well as for when casing is required for hole stabilisation. Starting barrels available in a number of sizes and lengths: 0,5m, 1,0m, 1,5m and 3,0m if required.

Core barrels are an integral part in the drill string for recovering core in both wireline and conventional drilling.We have a number of sizes in both 1,5m and 3.0m lengths.

CONSUMABLES
Both core barrels and starting barrels have a number of components that make up the complete assemblies, some of which will be required to be replaced on a regular and semiregular basis, all of which we can assist with. Head assemblies and the individual parts and spares, lifter cases, extension tubes, core springs, stop rings, landing rings, innertube stabilisers, inner and outer tubes, split inner tubes, adapter and locking couplings.
Drill Rods and Casing
DRILL RODS
Drill rods are essentially what drive the coring system and are available in standard lengths of 1,5m and 3,0m (other lengths are available by special request if required.

CASING
Primarily used for hole stabilisation, Casing is used for both wireline and conventional drilling. Standard lengths of 1,5m and 3,0m are available with other lengths available on request such as 0,5m and 1,0m.

RECOVERY TOOLS
In the unfortunate event of hole collapses and ‘burn ins’ recovery tools are required to salvage as much equipment as possible. Both combination and rod taps are available in the sizes required. Our main supply is the internal taps, but we can assist with bell taps if required.
Core Storage and Marking
CORE TRAYS
TWG Supplies offers a wide variety of trays for your storage needs in both steel (zincalume) and plastic, with the steel trays available in 1,0m and 1,5m and the plastic trays in 1,0m.We can also assist with racking systems on request. Core sizes from AQ to PQ.
CORE MARKING BLOCKS
Core marking blocks as well as permanent and paint markers are available.
CORE PLASTIC ROLLS
Certain jobs require the core to be stored with minimal disturbance from outside factors. Core plastic is available in many different sizes with rolls of 200m that you can cut to the lengths you require.
